Who is responsible for the site
Image Load Lab is an independent technical learning resource published by the Image Load Lab Editorial Team. Privacy or data-use questions can be sent to hello@imageloadlab.com.
Browser-only image tools
The image optimizer reads and processes the selected image inside your browser. The source image is not uploaded to Image Load Lab. The srcset builder also processes its text inputs locally. Files or text may remain in your browser history, clipboard, downloads, or device, so use a trusted device.
Contact messages
When you submit the contact form, the site processes your name, email address, subject, message, timestamp, and technical delivery information needed to prevent abuse and deliver the message. We use this information to respond, investigate the reported issue, maintain security, and keep a reasonable record of the conversation. Do not send sensitive files, passwords, or private client data.
Server logs and essential technology
The hosting provider may record IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, and security events in standard server logs. These records support security, reliability, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. Essential cookies or local storage may be used for site administration, security, consent preferences, or form operation.
Analytics
We use Koko Analytics in cookieless mode to understand aggregate page use. It does not intentionally set an analytics cookie. The configured fingerprint method may process technical request and browser data, which can include an IP address and user-agent information, to distinguish visits. We use these statistics only to operate and improve the site, not for cross-site advertising profiles. Koko Analytics is separate from Google’s consent message and is not controlled by Google Consent Mode.
Google AdSense review and advertising
The site includes a Google AdSense tag so Google can verify the site and review its eligibility. The tag may cause a visitor’s browser to contact Google even when no advertisement is displayed. If AdSense approves the site and advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, and personal data to serve, limit, personalize, and measure advertising. Visitors can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings and may use AboutAds choices for participating third-party vendors.
Consent choices
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use Google’s certified consent management platform to present advertising choices. Visitors can accept, reject, or manage advertising purposes and vendors. Non-essential advertising storage and personalized advertising are not enabled before the required consent signal.
Retention and privacy rights
We keep contact messages and security records only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, legal duties, backups, dispute handling, and abuse prevention. You may ask about access, correction, or deletion by emailing hello@imageloadlab.com. We may need to verify a request, and the rights available depend on your location and applicable law.
